Explore our Living Collections!
The living collections at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens comprise more than 100,000 diverse and carefully curated plants suitable for northern regions. The vibrant, dynamic, living collections are essential to all three areas of our mission work: horticulture, education, and research. Accordingly, plants in these extensive collections are formally accessioned, labeled, mapped, and monitored; they are central to horticultural display, interpretation, study, and exchange. Our living collections inspire people to discover and appreciate a wide diversity of plants and to better understand the natural world!
